The purpose of the Child Development Center (CDC) is to provide a positive learning experience in a Christian atmosphere. CDC offers classes for children who will be three or four years of age on or before September 1st.

Registration is open for the 2020-2021 school year. Morning times are 9:00 - 11:30  Afternoon times are 12:15 - 2:45.  Now I'm 3 is a class for those children who have a late August birthday, and those who turn 3 after September 1st.

Somethings to consider when choosing a class time for your child.

1. Does your child like to sleep in?
2. Are your mornings busy?
3. Has your child stop taking naps?

Then possibly an afternoon class is for your child. Children who attend afternoon classes has had a usually calm morning, breakfast, playtime, and lunch before heading off to preschool. While they are at preschool they have two and a half hours of learning and playing with friends, before heading home.

If your child goes to a childcare provider, there is a chance everyone will need to take a nap, where this is an opportunity for your child to have time to learn and experience new things before returning to childcare.

The Child Development Center was established in 1975 as a ministry to the families in the Chatham area. Christian teachers who love God and love children will be ministering to your little ones. We will do our best to help them develop into well-rounded individuals, learning to love God and others. It is our desire at Chatham Baptist Church to provide an excellent opportunity to prepare children for success in Kindergarten. We believe that a child who graduates from CDC will be well-prepared academically, physically, socially, spiritually, emotionally and ready to begin their formal education.

The CDC follows the holiday and vacation schedule of the Ball-Chatham School District. In the event of inclement weather, please check your email and the
